Empowering Women Through Education and Moral Guidance

The construction of a righteous and healthy society has long been the desire of prophets and messengers (peace be upon them), and the construction of such a society is only possible when the women of society are educated. This is because children, nurtured in their embrace, can influence the environment through their character and actions. Recognizing this need, the eminent scholar and educator, Hajj Maulana Syed Haider Mehdi Zaidi (may his soul rest in peace), laid the foundation of a great religious institution to educate women and acquaint them with moral values and religious principles. He did so with the noble efforts of his esteemed life partner, Fazila Tam Seyyidah Rabbab Zaidi. This endeavor was realized on 20 Jamadi al-Thani 1415 AH, corresponding to November 24, 1994. Today, Al-Zahra Comprehensive Institute, as it is known, is renowned, and girls educated and nurtured in Islamic teachings are fulfilling the great duty of societal reform in various cities of India.

May the Almighty grant continuous progress to this institution day by day.
